Spiritual Master
In 1938, while strolling on Meherabad Hill, Meher Baba made a sweeping gesture and stated, "The whole universe is mine, but this place is especially mine."
Most of these projects have been set upon the sacred ground of Meherabad. In April 1923 Meher Baba and his disciples came along the road from Ahmednagar to Daund. They rested and refreshed themselves from a well about 6 miles from Ahmednagar. Meher Baba said he liked the spot. This unique place was later gifted to Meher Baba who named it Meherabad. It became the centre of his activity and is now the site of his Tomb Shrine. Many who visit find themselves drawn back to this magnetic place.
